What’s the difference between rehabilitation and reablement?

While both rehabilitation and reablement aim to improve an individual's independence and quality of life, the main difference lies in their focus and approach. Rehabilitation is about recovery and returning to a previous level of function, whereas reablement is about adjusting to new abilities and promoting independence in daily life.
